Maree Jones is a social media and communications strategist who spent her career in hybrid positions within marketing, communications, and public relations departments of public and privately-held companies and advertising and PR agencies. She has also worked with global education and technology brands to sharpen their social media presence and build awareness and community. The mantra of her career in social media: Digital relationships are real relationships. That’s why she enjoys teaching others about social media best practices and showing organizations of all shapes and sizes how to put their best foot forward on external-facing communications channels. When she isn’t in front of a boardroom, virtual meeting room, or live audience talking about social media or personal branding, this Birmingham native is a mom, pet mom, local news junkie, and an advocate for several charitable organizations and nonprofits throughout the metro area.
